Orientation Year in Hamburg
Have you just finished school and can't quite decide what you want to do for a living? Have you often played with the idea of studying in Germany? Then we have just the thing for you!
NBS Northern Business School is a private university of applied sciences in Northern Germany, in the beautiful city of Hamburg. Together with WBS Training, we have developed a program that gives talented people from abroad the opportunity to get a taste of studying at a German university. You gain experience abroad, make professional and private contacts and have the option of transfering your credits towards a full degree course — regardless of your language skills.
Option 1: with German skills (B2)
If you already have knowledge of German, this model is the right choice for you.
You can choose your modules from these degree programs
You can freely combine up to three modules from the degree programs listed below. This gives you time to work or take a language course at WBS Training alongside your trial studies. The exact content of the individual modules as well as the lecturers and more can be found in the module handbooks.

Option 2: without German skills
You speak almost no German, but would still like to get to know life at a German university? Then this model might be right for you.
B.A. Business Administration: Choose up to 6 modules that are taught in English
Your study trial is also possible if you don't speak any German at all. Choose up to six English taught modules from the Business Administration course and fulfill your dream of studying at a German university.
These the courses in Business Administration that are taught in English and do not require any knowledge of the German language:

- International Human Resource and Diversity Management
- International Financing and Accounting
- International Group Controlling
